Founder and President of Fundación Legorreta Hernández, A.C., an organization that focuses on the development of Mexican children and youth through a comprehensive strategy that includes citizenship, education, social enterprise, conscious knowledge and health.

Due to her special interest in healthcare, Andrea is a member of the Board of Trustees of Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán, of the Board of Trustees of Hospital Infantil de México Federico Gómez, I.A.P., of the Board of Trustees of Fundación Teletón, A.C., of the Board of Trustees of Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Respiratorias Ismael Cosío Villegas, and of the Board of Trustees of Instituto Nacional de Cardiología Ignacio Chávez. She is Vice-president of the Governing Board of Fundación Mexicana para la Salud.

Andrea is a member of the Board of Trustees of Desarrollo de la Comunidad, A.C., an initiative created more than twenty years ago whose main mission is to promote human, individual and community development in marginalized areas in Mexico City.

Furthermore, she is a member of the Board of Fundación Pedro y Elena Hernández, A.C., an institution created for the conservation of Mexico’s natural heritage.

She serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ProAgro, S.A. de C.V. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Grupo Financiero Banamex, S.A., and is Planning Advisor to Grupo Paralelo 19, S.A. de C.V.

Andrea holds a Degree in International Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana.
